Katelynn's Newborn Portraits

This is a family I have been friends with for a long time. Around 6 or 7 years. They are very close friends of mine and I have been capturing beautiful moments for them since their oldest was just over 1 year old and have enjoyed being there to see each of their beautiful children grow. Their youngest (and first girl) was born just over a week ago. I was happy to be able to spend 2 days at their house catching up with them and getting some wonderful pictures of them and this beautiful little girl and their 2 boys. And look forward to the next year of pictures because I know how her Mommy is and she is definitely going to want monthly pictures of this little beauty. I took her older brother, William's, pictures 2 years ago and I promise I can see much resemblance in their stubbornness. She would be sound asleep in someones arms (and I mean sound asleep.. arms falling to the side..nothing waking her up) UNTIL I set her down and she was WIDE awake! But loved every minute of capturing her gorgeousness!    Here are a few of my favorites from her session.

Cassie's Maternity Portraits

So most of you that know me know that I have 2 "adopted" little sisters. One is a cosmetologist the other was married last year and is currently pregnant with a baby girl. She is due next month...We have been putting off taking maternity pictures because she just wasn't showing. But we finally had to just plan it before she got miserable or before that baby girl decides to come early. Here are a few of my favorites from her session! :) We took these in around her house in her pasture, which is gorgeous! Looking forward to meeting my beautiful new niece and getting to do her newborn portraits!

Beginning of Blogging....

So begins my blogging journey!! I have had this blog for a while now but just haven't known where to start it out at. I am hoping to keep this updated and use this for Sneak Peeks and to give tidbits of information about my sessions and be able to display new things and helpful tips for my sessions! 

So my photography journey began about 3 years ago taking pictures of nieces and nephews, then began taking pictures for friends. I have grown my business slowly but am very happy at where it is at. 

I have a passion for photography. I enjoy every type of photography. But my favorite is children and candid images. My style is very carefree. I enjoy smiling, running, jumping up and down child portraits! I enjoy families having fun in a park and playing in the water. I do posed images but will typically let your family be themselves and capture you in your element. For wedding photography I like to capture candid moments and typically don't put people into poses for the "getting ready" portraits or the reception.
